Rihanna for Interview Magazine
So, Rihanna has a busy year coming her way with two great singles out- "Only girl in the World" (my personal favorite) and "What's your name". This girl seems to be going non stop. So, what's next?? Maybe babies- at least that is what she is planning for- or not depending on how you take her quotes. The article isn't available online yet but you can find the quotes pretty much everywhere- but def check out all the images below- she looks absolutely F A B U L O U S.... at least I think so.

West Coast Wednesday: Dr. Dre - Kush ft. Snoop & Akon
This dropped a little while ago and I've been sitting on it for a while so that I could say more than "here's a new song". Dr. Dre is finally getting geared up to drop the very long awaited "Detox" album and from a press release sent out on Monday 11/19/10 the Doctor is planning on have a few old and some new patients of his such as Eminem, Jay-Z, Snook, Akon, and La Roux. Also, word is that the Dr. will scrap any leaked music like "Under Pressure" from the final album. I kicked you down with two (2) tracks from the album. Dre said in a recent interview with Big boy on Power 106 that the dude singing on "Kush" is not Nate Dogg. Trip out on that because he sounds just like Nate.

Ugly Betty Actor Kills His Mom With A Samurai Sword
Have you seen this Haitian guy? The police have. Mr. Michael Brea is accused of killing his mom with a Samurai sword while he yelled out biblical passages. Reports say that he cut the head off his mother, Yannick Bea who was 55 years old. The story is a little contradicting because it says Brea cut his mothers head of and then says he stabbed her to death. Which is it? In the mix of all this it's said that he was yelling at Yannick to "repent". I wonder what version of the bible he has that made him think it's ok to Ginsu his mom. Maybe she told him to get that haircut...on that note, really? a sword?
I don't care who this dude is, I've never heard of the guy but I wonder what his mom said to him that got him all worked up. Could it really have been enough to chop her dome off and shank her? You should have just cleaned your room like she asked dude, now you get a cell mate and get to hold his pocket.

Valentino for Gap, Say What?
Yeah.... with all the madness surrounding Lanvin for H&M I bet you didn't see this one coming. Unfortunately for us Horrid Americans we are not going to get to see it unless you are the lucky bidder on Ebay. Valentino has made a very special collection for Gap that will only be available at a few of it's very special European locations. Le Sigh..... and here I was almost booked my trip to Milan in order to get myself that fabulous army colored dress. I guess a girl can only dream.
Check out two of the other looks, click on the images to make them larger.

2010 AMA Fashion Round Up
So last night we had another great opportunity for some of our favorite artist's to do fashion well. Obviously we are going to have some winners and some disasters- HUGE disasters. Let's take a look ....
Pretty in Pink - although Katy Perry usually disappoints at large red carpet events she actually did very well here. This gorgeous Badgley Mischka dress paired with Brian Atwood platform peep-toes not only gave her a very grown up look but put her on the Fashion Map going forward. Let's hope she doesn't relapse and wear daisy dukes and bikini tops at the next red carpet.
Sexy Lace- Heidi Klum certainly showed up a lot of last night's artist in this GORGEOUS lace number. Although many other fashion blogs are claiming a fail- I think that it was accessorized properly and damn sexy. What do you guys think??
Flirty and Softly Draped- Uggghhh although it pains me to say this- little Miss Miley Cyrus got it right last night in this spectacular Marchesa Gown. This age appropriate soft pink/white gown was perfect for the occasion. Kudos to her stylist for picking something that didn't make her look like a whore for a change.
All Grownzed Up! - Looks like Taylor Swift is going to make that shift from young writer to adult singer soon. Wearing a Collette Dinnigan mini and Jimmy Choo heels, Taylor showed off a dramatic new grown up look that was not only sexy but left everyone craving to see what would be next during her performance.
H O T Mess- I get it, shock value but come on Ke$ha- this is just horrible. I don't even care who made it for you- get rid of it and that horrible hair and make up. You look like a child in kindergarten that got into the crafts closet.

Jimmy Fallon And Bruce Springsteen cover "Whip my Hair"
Seriously- This is pretty awesome. Jimmy Fallon (as his alter ego Neil Young) and Bruce Springsteen took Willow Smiths Infectious single and not only covered it- but made it into a slow jam. This is pretty hysterical and will make for an excellent clip on the soup/viral hit to be played over and over again for years to come.
Check it out, Enjoy and let us know your thoughts.

Gossip Girl #FAIL

O M G - Can someone please tell Leighton Meester it's time to fire her stylist?? Talk about bad clothes happening to good people Jeez. When looking at the close up of the neckline- it had so much potential but then you come to realize it was a beautiful beginning with a horrible slasher Freddy vs Jason end. The lace see through jumpsuit not only draped wrong on her type of figure but was overall a BAD BAD BAD idea.
I have to say- this played out very different on the runway, The jumpsuit coming from the Marchesa Spring 2010 line is meant to be worn by someone with absolutely no figure- a la MK or Ashley Olsen but on Leighton it just makes her look completely wide and not fashionable at all. Poor girl looks like she took a trip to the local Frederick's.
Am I correct or completely off my rocker??? Click on the images below to expand.

Doug: The Movie: Say What?
Though it's only a short film/trailer, the idea is okay, wish I would have thought of it. Whether Nickelodeon would co-sign on this is a bit far fetched in my eyes. Too bad they killed pork-chop, I guess it was the safest be than trying to put a belt on a dogs head to make a quaildog outfit.

Jessica Biel circa 1952
He has recently shot Jessica Biel for Covergirl's Fire & Ice campaign which is making it back to the shelves in the next coming weeks. Taking from the original 1952 campaign which was originally modeled by Dorian Leigh, He has managed to make an almost identical shot that not only shows off Jessica Biels gorgeous curves but brings a modern take on beauty spreads with a Balenciaga Dress, mirrored back ground and deep blood red lipstick and polish.
What do you guys think??? 1952 or 2010???

Jessica Alba for Elle
Let me start off this point with saying that at one point I was a HUGE Jessica Alba fan. I had pride in the fact that she was a Latina in the industry pushing the boundaries. This girl, however sure knows how to stick her foot in her mouth. Whether it's telling the world she doesn't really consider herself Latina, That she want a brown baby or now telling screen writers that their script really doesn't matter .... she has a way to get plenty of people mad at her and push people like- who considers myself a pretty big fan away.
All though she comes off as a self centered idiot- she sure knows how to give good face. Check out the full article here and click on the images below to see them in full.

Meet The Public : DTLA Pop-Up Shop!
Downtown LA is quickly becoming a regular destination for fashion events in this town! Once polarized to the west side (Beverly Hills, Culver City, Santa Monica) we are now seeing a shift to a more urban landscape.

The good people at Two Point Oh LA are jumping on the relocation of thangs with the opening of Meet The Public; a space filled of art and designs for retail and display from LA’s best designers and artists! Some of the designers included Chelsea Rebelle (dresses pictured above) and Penelope and Coco (sparkly boots pictured above) but there are tons more you will have to check out for yourself!
If you want to check out the pop-up shop it is running now through 11/16 at 620 S. Main Street, Los Angeles, CA 90014, I highly recommend it! Get down there, look at some of the cool local artists and designers and grab some grub in the NEW Downtown.
For more information check out the Two Point Oh LA site.
