Recap: "Living Things" Listening Party with Mike Shinoda

With the release of Linkin Park's album Living Things only hours away it's a safe bet to say that an incredible amount of people are getting excited to listen to all the new material that Living Things has to offer. Mike Shinoda and Sonos teamed up to bring a great event for a few lucky Linkin Park Underground fans along side industry reps and press to present an intimate listening party for Linkin Park's the new album.
The event began with some mingling while listening to a mixtape created by Mike Shinoda followed by a brief introduction by Mike Shinoda himself. An incredible video display show accompanied the music for all  to watch while noting their heads and tapping their feet to the beat as the music engulfed the room. Following the album was a Q & A with Mike Shinoda who was surprisingly accompanied by the albums producer Rick Rubin during the interview. Check out the awesome video provided by Sonos.

I've Seen this Before: PlayStation® All-Stars Battle Royale E3 Trailer

Long story short, this is just like Super Smash Bros. Brawl that the NIntendo did a while back. the difference is that they took Playstation's characters and mashed them all into one game to fight i t out to the death. Just pick Princess and watch her die of exhaustion or drown the other players with her sweat. You can chose from the likes of Sly Cooper, Kratos, Drake, Sweet Tooth and many more.

Green Lantern Revealed As Gay Superhero

In the humongous DC Universe a big reboot is underway. One of the changes that will incur fall onto the Original Green Lantern who is now openly Gay. Just don't add any stereotypes like lisp or making him think up some matching earrings for the Lantern ring and I think you'll be okay DC.
His new storyline will be revealed in Earth 2 issue No. 2, which comes out Wednesday 6/6/2012.

"The original version of Alan Scott was an older man, and he had a superpowered son, Obsidian, who was gay. The fact that Scott was young now [thanks to a universe-wide reboot] meant Obsidian no longer existed. I thought it was a shame that DC was losing such a positive gay character. I said, 'Why not make Alan Scott gay?' To Dan DiDio’s credit, when I suggested it to him, there wasn’t a moment’s hesitation."
